Welcome to Paws And Purrs Cattery.

For over four decades, our family has been dedicated to raising exceptional Chow Chows, Munchkins, Scottish Folds, and Ragdolls. It all began in 1978 with a passion for these remarkable breeds. When my mother passed away 27 years ago, I proudly continued her legacy alongside my wife, Driven by the same love and dedication to our dogs and cats.

Rest assured that your kitten and puppy are being raised by two veterinarians and four children who are all  Chow Chow puppy, Munchkin kitten, Scottish Fold kitten, Ragdoll kitten enthusiast and cat/dogs lovers. Our family fell in love with this breeds and wanted to cultivate and raise the perfect Chow Chow puppy, Munchkin kitten, Scottish Fold kitten and Ragdoll kitten for your family. Our kittens and puppies are well adjusted for any home setting and are specifically raised to accommodate those of us with special needs. Each kitten is cared for and raised with love underfoot in our home with our 4 kids and other pets,  Chow Chow, Munchkin, Scottish Fold,  and Ragdoll. Your kittens and puppies will be acclimated to handling, dogs, kids, and other cats for a seamless integration to your family. Additionally, since we are both veterinarians, you can have extra peace of mind knowing that your kitten has been reared under our watchful medical lens, which extends to after your kitten has joined your family, too. We are excited to be apart of your  Chow Chow puppy, Munchkin kitten, Scottish Fold kitten and Ragdoll kitten search.

We have a strong stance on unethical breeders and you will not find any cage or garage breeding at our home. All of our babies are raised inside our home in heated and air-conditioned comfort where they also get used to everyday household noises. We put in countless hours of socialization between my wife and I, As well as super special cuddles by our granddaughter. We are bound by a code of ethics with our registration bodies, So rest assured your future kitten and puppy will be coming from a very happy and healthy home. Kitten and puppy visits are more than welcomed after they have had their first vaccination by those adopting from us. You will be able to meet all of our cats including the parents of your kitten and puppy.

We breed not for profit but out of passion—a philosophy that ensures our dogs and cats well-being always comes first. At Paws And Purrs Cattery, We have 14 females and 7 males who share our home and hearts, Not a life in cages. During mating periods or when there are young ones, Our companions are separated as necessary to maintain their comfort and safety.

We’ve created an enriching environment where our animals can thrive. They are part of our daily lives, Sharing our home, Playing freely, And receiving constant affection. To keep them safe, We’ve designed a special playroom tailored for kittens and puppies. This ensures they can explore and play in a secure space while developing essential social skills.

At Paws And Purrs Cattery, All of our puppies and kittens are raised in our home, Surrounded by love and care from the moment they are born. To ensure they grow into confident, Well-adjusted companions, They are exposed to a variety of sounds, sights, and experiences during their early development.

We take every step to prioritize the health and well-being of our puppies and kittens:

• Vaccinations and Deworming: Each puppy and kitten are fully vaccinated and dewormed before leaving for their new home, ensuring they are protected against common diseases.
• Genetic Testing: Our breeding dogs and cats undergo rigorous genetic testing to confirm they are free of hereditary conditions, supporting the health of future generations.
• Breed Standards: We carefully select breeding pairs to produce puppies and kittens that not only meet but often exceed the standards of their breed in terms of health, Temperament, And physical traits.

We want the move to their forever families to be as smooth as possible:

• Potty Training: All of our kittens and puppies are potty trained, minimizing stress for both them and their new families.
• Socialized and Confident: Thanks to their nurturing environment, our animals are well-prepared to adapt to their new homes, whether it’s a bustling household or a quieter setting.

Thank you for considering Paws And Purrs Cattery, We can’t wait to help you welcome one of our adorable fur babies into your family! We recommend Life Abundance or Royal Canin Kitten/puppy dry and wet food, Both are great diets. Your kitten will be eating Life’s Abundance when they are scheduled to come home, We will provide a small bag upon delivery.  

Life’s Abundance makes smaller batches of food and therefore does not need as many preservatives. They also conveniently ship the food right to your door, Usually within 1 day of ordering. Royal Canin is found online at Chewy and/or in specialty pet stores. You will not be able to find it in the grocery stores, We respect your choice to change their diet, Especially if you have other kittens and puppies at home eating a different brand. We only ask that you gradually change their diet over 5 to 7 days. That looks like adding 1/4 or less of their meal being the new diet and gradually adding more and more each day slowly until you are only feeding the desired diet.
